Jenny Fong Named Senior Vice President of Medicare and Operations for Health Partners Plans

Philadelphia, PA — Jenny Fong, a veteran in the managed care industry, has joined Health Partners Plans (HPP) as Senior Vice President of Medicare and Operations, reporting to Executive Vice President of Medicare and Operations Barry Volin.

Fong is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic, operational and tactical business plans for HPP’s Medicare line of business. She also reviews and directs HPP’s service operations across all lines of business to meet and exceed business goals. In addition, Fong manages budgets and controls expenses while meeting operational, financial and service requirements. Maintaining high levels of member and provider satisfaction and engagement will be top priorities.

Fong brings a wealth of Medicare expertise and almost 20 years of managed care operations and leadership experience to HPP. She has a proven track record in a wide array of specialties, including health care administration, government programs with an in-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, operational services, sales, member relations, marketing and analysis. 

Prior to joining HPP, Fong served as chief compliance and privacy officer for Cognizant Technology Solutions’ largest government sponsored managed care organization, where she was responsible for operational compliance in the U.S. and offshore locations across multiple lines of business. During her career, Fong has also served as chief compliance officer for Health Republic Insurance of New York, vice president of regulatory and business operations for Centers Plan for Healthy Living in Staten Island and assistant vice president of the Medicare Program at Health Plus, Inc. in Brooklyn.

Fong was born and raised in New York City, where she received her Bachelor of Science from Pace University.
