Health Partners Foundation Announces Joe Dodi as Board Chair

Philadelphia, PA – Health Partners Foundation, a community initiative of Health Partners Plans, announced today that former vice president and treasurer, Joe Dodi, has been appointed chair of the board of directors effective immediately. Dodi takes over from Michelle Davidson, Senior Vice President of Business Strategy and Growth at HPP, who served as the foundation board chair for more than two years.

"Joe has successfully utilized his 20 years of treasury management experience to support the Health Partners Foundation in our mission to sponsor and help local organizations," said Staci Scott, President and Executive Director of the Health Partners Foundation. "I have no doubt that Joe will continue to employ his capabilities to enhance the Foundation and help make a positive difference in the neighborhoods where our members live."

As the HPF treasurer, Dodi provided strategic leadership for all treasury management activities. He joined Health Partners Plans as vice president and treasurer in 2017, where he was responsible for liquidity management, cash, investment income and interest expense forecasting, interest rate risk strategies and more. Prior to joining HPP, he was director, head of treasury at Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield NJ, where his responsibilities included oversight of the investments, treasury operations, payments administration and company liability insurance function for the enterprise.

"I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve as board chair and I look forward to continuing my commitment of inspiring positive change in the community for our members," Dodi said.

Previously, Dodi held various treasury management positions at DRS Technologies, Millennium Chemicals, Houghton Mifflin and Putnam Investments. He also currently serves as director and treasurer for the Financial Executives International (FEI) New Jersey Chapter. He holds an MBA from Suffolk University and a bachelor’s in economics and finance from Northeastern University.
