What is CAHPS? Webinar Announcement

Member satisfaction is a leading indicator in measuring overall quality of care and patient engagement. Starting in March, patients in your practice will receive the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, which asks patients to evaluate their experiences with their healthcare providers and plans. The CAHPS survey covers topics that are important to patients and focuses on aspects of care that affect them directly, like communication skills of providers and ease of access to healthcare services. HPP is offering a webinar on Feb. 17, 2022 to review the CAHPS survey process and provide strategies to improve in several areas that impact the provider offices.

Our goal is supporting practices like yours in understanding the CAHPS survey process and optimizing the patient experience. We will cover the following topics:

  • A detailed description of the CAHPS survey
  • Why HPP focuses on CAHPS initiatives, like member satisfaction and customer service projects
  • How provider groups can make an impact on several key areas: Getting Needed Care, Getting Care Quickly and Care Coordination
