Prior Authorization Issue Identified

Health Partners Plans (HPP) recently implemented a new care management system, which includes the management of our prior authorization requests. Prior authorizations submitted through our provider portal are then fed into our new care management system for processing.

HPP is aware of an issue that is impacting some of the prior authorization requests being submitted through the provider portal, which may impact you. We greatly appreciate your patience as we work on a permanent fix to this issue.

If you submit a prior authorization through our provider portal and do not receive an immediate response with an authorization number, please be assured we have received your prior authorization request and are processing it for a decision. You should receive a response back with an authorization number within 24 hours.
