Reminder: Pennsylvania License Requirements

Health Partners Plans credentialing standards require all practitioners to maintain a current and unrestricted Pennsylvania professional license.

We urge you to work with the state to ensure that your professional licenses are renewed in a timely manner to avoid potential disruptions with your participation with Health Partners Plans. If we are unable to verify the renewal of your professional license within 30 days of your annual renewal date we will send you a warning letter; if we are unable to verify renewal and have determined that the Pennsylvania professional license has expired, we may initiate termination proceedings.

If you have questions about the status of your Pennsylvania professional license you should contact the state. If you do not plan to renew your license or have concerns about the status of your license due to a late renewal, contact our Credentialing department.
