Thanksgiving Holiday Hours of Operation / Billing Cycle

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Health Partners Plans will be modifying our claim payment cycle and hours of operation.

Claim Payment Cycle Change

As a result of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, next week’s payment cycle will be reduced, covering claims processed from Thursday, November 15, through Friday, November 16. The following week's payment will cover the additional days not included in this shortened Thanksgiving claim payment cycle.

Please note that your overall reimbursement will not be affected. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause.

Hours of Operation

In observance of Thanksgiving, Health Partners Plans will be closed on Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23.

In addition, select departments may have modified hours of operation, as noted below.

  • Provider Services Helpline. The Provider Services Helpline will maintain normal business hours (9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) on Wednesday, November 21, but will be closed Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23. The Provider Services Helpline can be reached at 1-888-991-9023.
  • Pharmacy Call Center. The Pharmacy Call Center will have modified business hours on Wednesday, November 21, and Friday, November 23, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The call center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. will resume next Monday. The Pharmacy Call Center can be reached at 1-866-841-7659.

Note: An on-call pharmacist will be available for emergencies on Thanksgiving and after hours on Wednesday and Friday.

  • Claims Reconsideration Call Center. The Claims Reconsideration Call Center will be closing early (12 p.m.) on Wednesday, November 21, and will be closed Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23. The Claims Reconsideration Call Center can be reached at 1-866-500-4571.
  • Utilization Management Call Center. The Utilization Management Call Center will have modified business hours on Wednesday, November 21, from 8 a.m. until 12 noon, and then will switch to on-call coverage, resuming normal operations on the morning of Monday, November 26. The Utilization Management Call Center can be reached at 1-866-500-4571.
  • Special Needs Unit. The Special Needs Unit will be unaffected, and will remain available 24 hours a day throughout the Thanksgiving week. The Special Needs Unit can be reached at 1-866-500-4571 (prompt 2, then prompt 7).
