ONAFs Now Online
Starting September 1, 2017, submit Obstetrical Needs Assessment Forms (ONAFs) online at obcare.optum.com. Download a user guide today to get started.
Eliminate manual data entry with online ONAFs, which is the same for all Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) in Pennsylvania. First-time users must register and create an Optum ID. Once registered, bookmark the site and share with your staff.
Required by December 31, 2017
Pennsylvania’s Medical Assistance Program (Medicaid) will soon require that all ONAFs be submitted electronically. Health Partners Plans will stop accepting faxed ONAFs as of December 31, 2017.
Help us improve patient care
Timely initial ONAF submission allows us to enroll pregnant members in our Baby Partners program, which provides case management support, as well as assistance with member-specific community resources.

Questions? Contact your Network Account Manager or call the HPP Provider Helpline at 1-888-991-9023 (Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.).
Note: In addition to HPP, other Medicaid MCOs are also participating in the new ONAF process and sponsoring training. You only need to attend one training.
