2016 Pediatric Dental Symposium dostponed due to SEPTA strike
The Pediatric Dental Symposium — previously scheduled for November 2 — is postponed until Wednesday, November 30 due to potential complications resulting from the SEPTA strike.
Dental care is an essential element of primary care for children. To help improve dental health among our young at-risk members, Health Partners Plans (HPP) and Avēsis are collaborating to present our annual Pediatric Dental Symposium at Temple University Health System on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
Attendees will be eligible to win a $500 gift card. Free parking is available and light refreshments will be served.
Pediatric dental symposium agenda
Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. Light refreshments and networking with HPP staff, other providers, and vendors will be available throughout the symposium:
- Panel discussion: An interactive panel discussion will focus on integrated medical & dental care, fluoride varnish applications, dental sealant guidelines, the establishment of dental homes, and opportunities for improved coordination of care between primary care and pediatric dentistry providers. A Q&A session will follow.
