Image of Pharmacist consulting with patient in pharmacyHave you ever forgotten to take a pill or refill a prescription? Has a prescription drug ever given you a negative side effect? It happens to many people. But, missing doses regularly or stopping a drug altogether can be dangerous. If you take medication to treat a chronic condition (like diabetes, hypertension or high cholesterol), it’s critical that you take your medication. Your benefits with Health Partners (Medicare) can help you manage your prescription medications.

Medication Therapy Management (MTM)

If you take medications for multiple medical conditions, you may be enrolled in our Medication Therapy Management (MTM) program at no additional cost. This program helps ensure your medications are helping you as much as possible. A pharmacist or other health professional will review your medications and talk with you about:

  • Your concerns, such as medication costs and drug reactions
  • How best to take your medications
  • Any questions or problems you have with your prescription and over-the-counter medication If you have any questions about this program, please contact Member Relations at 1-866-901-8000 (TTY 711).

90-Day Prescription Supplies

Health Partners Medicare Prime members can get a 90-day supply of most covered drugs and pay only the copay for a 60-day supply. Health Partners Medicare Special members can get a 90-day supply for no additional cost beyond their regular cost-sharing for a 30-day supply. Some restrictions apply, so call Member Relations.
