Health Partners Medicare Offers Affordable Plans with Valuable Benefits at No Additional Cost

2019 Special Needs Plan offers more benefits at low or $0 copays for Dual Eligibles

Philadelphia, PA — Health Partners Plans (HPP) is offering area residents the chance to get more out of Medicare with plans designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s seniors and others eligible for Medicare. HPP’s Medicare Advantage plans will offer primary care visits, annual vision and routine hearing exams, dental exams and cleanings and gym memberships at low or no additional cost. In addition, Health Partners Medicare members can receive acupuncture at low cost and certain Part D drugs and other services with low or no copays. HPP is committed to giving its Medicare members more benefits and more peace of mind knowing they are covered by a company that cares.

Starting October 15, Health Partners Medicare will begin accepting enrollments for 2019, offering its popular Medicare Advantage plans to people in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Northampton and Philadelphia counties. Members can choose between two plans that provide all the coverage of Original Medicare plus valuable extra benefits.

We are especially excited about Health Partners Medicare Special (HMO SNP), a competitive Special Needs Plan that provides prescription drug coverage and is open to anyone who has both Medicare and full Medicaid. The plan also includes the following exciting features:

  • Access to an extensive network of more than 6,000 doctors and leading area hospitals
  • $0 transportation benefit (60 one-way trips to plan-approved locations yearly)
  • $0 or low copay for PCP visits
  • As little as $0 deductible and copay for qualifying members for certain prescription drugs
  • Free memberships at network fitness centers
  • Local, around-the-clock customer service, 365 days a year

We are also proud to offer Health Partners Medicare Prime (HMO) , a comprehensive plan that provides extra benefits and prescription drug coverage at an affordable premium.

In addition, Health Partners Medicare members will have access to an exciting new benefit in 2019. Members who decide not to use the fitness center membership can take advantage of one of three available Home Fit Kits. Each kit focuses on a wellness theme:

  • Stretching and flexibility
  • Strength
  • Cardio and walking

Each Home Fit Kit is customized with tools to help users exercise at home, giving Health Partners Medicare members yet another option to improve their health and get the most from their plan.
