Health Partners Plans Names Anthony Marino Vice President, IT Infrastructure and Operations

Philadelphia, PA — Health Partners Plans (HPP) announced that veteran IT management professional Anthony Marino has been named Vice President, IT Infrastructure and Operations, reporting to Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer Joseph Brand. In his new role, Mr. Marino oversees the delivery of all externally and internally managed IT infrastructure used to support business processes across HPP. In addition, Mr. Marino is responsible for vendor oversight, fiscal responsibility of company-wide IT initiatives and operational and service management processes that align with quality, efficiency and agility goals.

Marino brings 30 years of experience to this position, including 13 years managing technology operations at HPP. He joined HPP in 2003 as Manager of Network Services. In this role, he oversaw a group focused on network and systems management, database administration and software development. In 2008, Marino assumed the role of HPP’s Director of Corporate Technology where he assisted the CIO in planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining HPP’s technology infrastructure. Marino also managed the Help Desk, Network & Systems Services and Telecommunications units.

Prior to joining HPP, Mr. Marino served as Senior Network/Systems Architect for Network Technologies Group, Inc., where he specialized in network access, security and VPN solutions.

Mr. Marino received his Certificate of Digital Electronics from Gloucester County Institute of Technology. He also earned an associate degree in Electronic Engineering from Camden County College. Mr. Marino lives in Mullica Hill, NJ with his wife and three children.
