Health Partners Plans Wins Gold in International Competition for Marketing and Communications Excellence

Winner of the Coveted 2016 MarCom Awards in Corporate Social Responsibility and Branding Categories

Philadelphia, PA — Health Partners Plans (HPP), nationally known for its innovations in managed care, received international recognition for its creative marketing and novel approach to providing nutrition assistance to members with two gold awards in the 2016 MarCom Awards competition.

The MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding marketing, communication and creative professionals and organizations. With more than 6,500 entries submitted this year, it’s one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious competitions in the world.

HPP knocks out the competition by snagging two gold awards: one in multimedia branding and the other in corporate social responsibility. HPP celebrated the diverse makeup of its membership with the unique and inclusive “Your Family. Our Focus” campaign, earning the multimedia branding award. In addition, by recognizing members’ need for food access and resources in their community, HPP conceptualized a captivating Food Access Guide, winning the gold award in corporate social responsibility.

HPP also received two honorable mentions for its revamped KidzStrong member newsletter in the health plan member communications category, and its KidzPartners member retention and referral mailer in the brochure category.

Nationally recognized for its innovations in managed care, Health Partners Plans is among the top fifteen Medicaid plans in the country, one of the highest-rated in Pennsylvania and receives strong ratings for member and provider satisfaction according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) Medicaid Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2016–2017.
